Beef TVP Stew

Method

Soak the TVP chunks in the hot water and mix occassionally until mostly moist.

Place in the crock pot and add diced potatoes, carrots, onion, water, boullion, Worcestershire sauce, and bay leaf.

Run crock pot on high for 6 hours and then make the gravy.

For the gravy, heat the oil on low until melted and then stir in the flour with a whisk.

Keep stirring as the flour browns.

After it is richly brown, begin pouring in the water/soy sauce mixture from a measuring cup.

Add more boullion as needed and then let simmer another hour or so.
