Butter Braised Tofu with Garlic

Method

    Drain the tofu and then slice in 1/2 in thicknesses.

    Place between rags and weight with a book to fully drain for about an hour.

    Dice into 1/2 inch cubes.

    Peel and mince the cloves of garlic.

    Melt the butter and then cook the garlic about 30 seconds on medium heat.

    Add the tofu and then let cook for about 15 minutes, continuing to stir every 3-4 minutes.

    Remove from heat and then mix in the soy sauce, the black pepper, and the sesame seeds.
