Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes

Thinly slice the onion and cook in T butter until soft.

Peel the garlic and mince it before adding it to the onions for another 2 minutes of frying.

Remove from heat and set aside.

Peel, coarsely chop, and then boil the potatoes in water until tender when pierced with a fork.

Drain and then mix the T butter and buttermilk in.

Add rest of ingredients and then serve.
