Cabbage and Potatoes with Pasta

Method

    Remove the outer coarse leaves of cabbage, then finely shred the heads.

    Cube the potatoes in about ¼ inch pieces Peel and mince the garlic Heat the potatoes in boiling water and cook until fork tender.

    Remove with a slotted spoon and season with the savory spices.

    Heat the oil in a large fry pan and cook the garlic 30 seconds and then add the cabbage.

    Add broth as needed until the cabbage is soft and wilted.

    Toss in the Italian herbs.

    Cook the pasta until it is al dente and then drain and mix everything together.
