Cheesy Greens with Rice Crust

Method

    Cook the rice in the water until the water is absorbed.

    Spread the rice in an ungreased pie tin (9 inch).

  3. 03

    Wash and steam the greens before drying them in a towel.

  4. 04

    Mince the bacon, shred the cheese and then mix everything together.

  5. 05

    Pour the filling into the pie crust.

    Melt the butter in a fry pan and then brown the bread crumbs until richly brown.

    Top the casserole with this and then bake, covered, at 250 oF for about 45 minutes, or when the egg is done.
