Chicken Stew with Gluten Free Gravy

Method

    Peel and finely dice the onion.

    Peel and mince the garlic clove.

    Saute both of the above in the oil until soft.

    Pour in 2 cups water and 1 bouillon cube.

    Dice the potato into small pieces; add to the simmering broth.

    Remove the ends from the green beans and break into small pieces; add to the broth.

    Peel and finely dice the carrot and add to the broth.

    Add the diced Quorn from the package.

    If using chicken breasts, saute until brown in T oil and add.

    Add savory.

    Meanwhile, melt the margarine on low and then add the brown rice baby cereal.

    If you want a thicker sauce for the stew, add closer to the 1/2 cup amount, but for less, add 1/4 cup.

    Continue to stir constantly to avoid browning.

    Slowly add 1 cup of water with bouillon cube and mix in between each small addition.

    Stir in the basil and then the soy sauce and simmer briefly.

    Pour into the bulk of the stew.
