Clean the greens and remove the tough stems.

Steam the greens until tender and then drain in a strainer before squeezing out the rest of the moisture in a towel.

Mince the water chestnuts, green onions, and onions.

Peel, mince, and steam the carrot until tender/crisp.

Mix everything together with some black pepper.
