Lettuce Tofu Wraps

Slice the tofu about 1/4 in. thick and let dry between rags for a while.

Then cut in 1/4 in dice.

Mix the tofu with the soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, onion, green onion, and black pepper.

Let marinade over night.

Peel the carrot and dice in 1/4 in. dice.

Dice the celery likewise.

Drain the water chestnuts and cut in 1/4 in. dice.

Peel and mince the garlic and ginger.

When it is mealtime, heat T. of oil in a wok and add the garlic and ginger and heat for about 1 minute.

Then add the veggies and stir fry about 3 minutes before adding tofu with the marinate.

Remove the outer leaves of the lettuce and layer on a serving plate.
