Miso Dressing for Salad or Slaw

2 tbsp white or yellow miso
1/3 cup hot water
1/2 small onion
Juice from 1/2 to 1 lemon
1T – 2 tbsp sugar replacement ingredient (this recipe used monk fruit powder, which we happened
to have…don't ask why. Anything sweet would work here)
2 cloves garlic
1 inch of ginger
1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
1 tbsp rice vinegar
black pepper

Method

Heat the water in the microwave in a measuring cup and then whisk in the miso.

Mix everything else together and it should form a single liquid phase since the oil concentration is low.
