Pickled Turnip Stems

Method

  1. 01

    Remove the stems from the turnips.

  2. 02

    By hand, remove the leafy parts and retain only the stems for this recipe.

  3. 03

    Mince the stems.

  4. 04

    Peel and mince the onion.

  5. 05

    Mix everything in a saucepan and heat to boiling.

  6. 06

    Boil for about 5 minutes.

  7. 07

    Pour into a glass 1 quart jar and store in a refrigerator at least 24 hours.
