Spring or Summer Salad

Method

    Our corn was already cooked.

    If it's not, boil lightly for about 4 minutes and drain.

    After the ear of corn is cool, slice off the kernels and place in a bowl.

    Remove the ends from the squash and then dice into about 1/4 inch pieces.

    Mince the basil leaves.

    Peel and mince the garlic.

    Mince the sorrel.

    Dice the tomatoes into about 1/8 inch piece.

    Halve, then juice the grapefruit before mixing in the sugar, salt and oil.

    Pour over the other ingredients in the bowl and then mix.
