Place the yogurt in cheesecloth and let drain 2-3 hours in the refrigerator.

Peel the cucumbers, half lengthwise, and remove the seeds (keep those for the Frozen Cucumber and Vinegar Recipe).

Thinly slice the cucumbers.

Peel, half, and thinly slice the onion, separating the parts into half-rings.
